When settling into a new workspace or even a new town, there can often be one slight hiccup: figuring out what’s available in the local area. Don’t worry! We’ve compiled a list of convenient stores and services that can be found in our neighborhood.
Need some nice accessories for your house? Then Antiksuk might be the place for you. Lamps, cushions, rugs, and also clothing can be found in this nice little shop.
Calle Conil 4A – For all your telecommunications and tech needs you can go to Cadizdroid. Whether you need to replace a phone charger, buy a new phone, or seek advice on your current device, the staff at Cadizdroid is both knowledgeable and friendly.
Manolo is just around the corner of the coworking and sells the best chorizo, chicharron and lomo en manteca.
Forgot to buy your meat at Manolo in the morning? No worrries! Vejer has at least 7 more butchers, and one of them is San Miguel. Their huge steak is my son’s favorite dinner.
Avenida de Buenavista 28 – is a store for health and beauty products, personal care items, baby care products, and more. You’ll find everything you need for your daily routine here.
Calle el Barbate – Cut little store with delicious ecological products, and local fruits and vegetables from their ‘campo’ (farm on the countryside of Vejer).
Calle el Chorrillo / Avenida Buenavista – Right next to us, you’ll find Farmacia Morillo. The pharmacy is owned by grandfather Antonio (who’s a big friend of our office dog Cato) and granddaugther Begona. The pharmacy carries a range of medications, beauty products, health supplements, and offers advice on health-related queries.
Hairdresser Jen is – quite literally – a hidden gem. Need a good hairdresser who can also handle thinner hair? Then Jen is your girl. Visit the coworking for her contact details.
The Garcia brothers have a wide variety of fruit and vegetables, but also dates and eggs for example. And Senora Garcia is the one to ask how to make an authentic Spanish ‘lentejas’ or ‘Puchero’.
Avenida de Buenavista 18 – At Hiper China you can basically buy ‘everything’. Underwear, bins, pans, towels, etc… The same owner also has a bigger store called Merca Vejer at Calle Don Quijote 33. From mobile phones to finance, health services to eco-friendly foods, the neighborhood around La Unidad Vejer has everything you need. This community’s diverse range of services and stores ensures that you’ll have everything you need at your fingertips while you’re working with us.
This shop offers a wide variety of ecological products, from cookies, herbs tea to bread, and also things like shampoo and shower gels.
Calle Teresa de Calcuta 1 – For all your laundry needs, Lavanderia La Estrella offers quick, efficient, and high-quality services.
At this bakery near the coworking you can buy delicious bread. His brown bread, and molletos are favourites. And sometimes he makes almond cake, which is super nice. Fernando, the baker, is a very nice guy who also sells eggs, honey, and other necesities. Make sure to bring cash, because you can’t pay by card.
If you want a ‘change of bread’, then Pan Cultura is also a very good choice. For this baker you have to leave ‘the mountain’ though, because they’re located in the Poligono of Vejer.
Avenida de Buenavista 2 – Prensa Galindo carries a wide selection of newspapers, magazines and stationery. They also provide printing services: send your document to their whatsapp 620199705, and then visit the store to get it printed.
Calle el Barbate – Looking for household appliances or electronics? Tien21 Imdelec is the go-to local store for high-quality electrical appliances, from washing machines and refrigerators to smaller items like coffee machines or blenders.
